Employment Opportunities

Instructors
Teachers are the backbone of the Cathedral Arts Project. They are responsible for our students’ growth in the arts and thus the ultimate success of our program. Cathedral Arts Project is always accepting resumes from qualified instructors in the areas of dance, drama, music and the visual arts. Opportunities arise throughout the year. Applicants must have experience working with children and an expertise in either dance, drama, music or the visual arts. Our classes are conducted at elementary schools throughout Jacksonville from approximately 3:15 pm – 5:30 pm for two days a week during the school year. Compensation is generous. A BA degree is preferred but not required. If you are interested please submit your resume to program director Sally Giles at sgiles@capkids.org.

Assistants
Each Cathedral Arts Project class has both a teacher and an assistant. The assistant provides the help required to make the class a positive learning experience for our children. Cathedral Arts Project accepts applications from assistants throughout the year as vacancies do occur. Applicants must have experience working with children. Experience in dance, drama, music or the visual arts is preferred but not required. Assistants must be available from approximately 3:15 – 5:30 for two days a week during the school year. If you are interested please submit your resume to program director Sally Giles at sgiles@capkids.org.
